Link Investment Management’s workplace financial wellness plans can help employees, businesses rest easy

Losing sleep over your retirement savings prospects? You’re not alone when it comes to a shut-eye shortage.

According to a recent Bankrate survey in the United States, money is one of the primary factors causing people to lose sleep, second only to relationships.

Younger baby boomers stress the most about money—with about 39% of respondents answering in the affirmative.

“Baby boomers—especially the younger ones—are at this really critical period where they need to be saving for retirement. But a lot of people came through the recession and their financial situation is worse because of it,” USC professor Jennifer Ailshire tells Bankrate. “That particular demographic is really feeling the financial squeeze right now.”

Finances are also a worry for older millennials, younger millennials and Gen Xers. And saving enough for retirement is chief among financial concerns for all groups surveyed, at 18%.

Link: A plan administration innovator

At Link Investment Management, we believe that retirement planning should not be shrouded in uncertainty.

However, many of today’s employees are confused about their workplace financial wellness portfolio. They have a limited choice of branded funds that don’t reflect their personal situation. They don’t understand the options presented to them, and they don’t make the choices that are right for them.

At the same time, small to midsize employers are struggling under the administrative burden of workplace-sponsored pension and savings plans. And fee structures are coming under increasing scrutiny.

Link Investment Management is a growing financial innovator in plan administration. We’ve taken a different approach—one that can help employers and businesses alike rest easy.
